Well, I have come up with a .bat…
The “ping” commands is just to be sure that everything has time to complete (an alternative to the sleep command)…

sc stop spooler
ping localhost -n 2
sc stop lxbk_device
ping localhost -n 2
taskkill /im lxbk* /f /t
ping localhost -n 2
del /q c:\Windows\system32\spool\PRINTERS\*
ping localhost -n 2

sc start lxbk_device
ping localhost -n 2
sc start spooler

hello guys i have an acer aspire 6930 laptop pre-installed with win vista home premium.now i have just installed windows 7 ultimate 32 bit os.i tried to installed the softwares provided by acer but most of it did not install.like intel graphic accelator.etcwhen i was using vista my computer rating was 3.7 while using the same in win7 its 3.3.am not able to play game in full screen mode.while playing movie it gets struck.when i tryed to install realteck sound software it did not installed but am able to ply mp3 files.pls suggest me guys. my main problem is graphics.its runing on mobile pack or some thing else sort.while i was using vista it was running on intel express fimly set chip.

hi lori, was wondering if you could help me again i dont know how to turn on the webcam its built into laptop and wroks when your chatting on facebook but i dont know how to get it to work without being on line we want to take photos but dont know how can you help?

Hi Guys.

i have same laptop like this but i have only 1 problem… when i play
game for exapmle : NBA Live 07, Gta or CS its getting very hot and in 30 ~ 40 min its shutting down…. if you guys know something what can i do please tell me thanks a lot!

Hi Lori,

Thankyou for replying I did notice that an orange light was flickering but it also takes me to my google page does that mean that when Im out and not plugged in to my dsl i can touch that button and internet will be on im with optus but want to be able to use the wirless so my daughter can use the taptop in her room as the cords wont reach that far.

LOL! Nice rant. I have to agree with you on all points. Very frustrating all around. I personally don’t use Lexmark, but some of my clients do and thus I have to make everything “work”. It can be very exasperating at times. Oh well.

To delete stubborn print jobs, you might try the following (courtesy of PosterInNews on the Windows Vista Fax and Scan forum):

Option 1)
Click on start orb
Type in search window:
services.msc
click ok
Scroll down to Print spooler service and click on it in the right side
window.
On the left side click stop the service and wait forthe process to
stop
Do not close the window yet. You will have to restart it here later.
next delete the print job in the printer queue
then restart the spooler service
Resubmit your new print job.
Option 2)
If that doesn’t clear it, the next step would be to stop the spooler
service as stated above
Go into windows explorer
(Print job data is collected and stored in a spool file in the spooler
folder.)
It is located in:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\PRINTERS
Your print job will show 2 files there Example below:
00002.SHD
00002.SPL
Delete the files located in there. There may be several of them
depending apon how many print jobs you submitted. You will have to
resubmit your print jobs all over again.
Next go back to services window and restart the spooler service.
